Donna passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 24, 2019 with her family by her side.
Donna was born on January 17, 1940 in Novar Ontario. To Westley and Alma Nunn, she was the second youngest of 7 children.
She married Jack Harley (pre-deceased May 17, 2009) on October 3, 1959. Together they had 3 children Sandi, Chris and Sherry (pre-deceased by infant son Kevin).
Donna and Jack lived in Toronto for 24 years where she was a key punch operator, then a crossing-guard, when they retired Jack and Donna returned to Donna’s hometown of Novar.
While back in Novar, Donna and Jack organized a local craft sale for 24 years raising and donating to many charities, the Novar fire department, the cancer society and the Huntsville Hospital foundation. Donna and Jack drove for the cancer society, she continued to do both even after Jack’s passing.
A few years after Jack’s passing Donna met good friend Norm Ruttan. Donna and Norm delivered the local newspapers to give them extra spending money and to keep them busy. They continued to do this until a month before Donna’s passing.
