Sheldon Eugene Bennett

Sheldon Eugene Bennett passed away peacefully with family by his side on Saturday March 14, 2020.

To mourn his passing are his wife Helen (Reid), son Mark (partner Jacquie Jones), six grandchildren --  Amber, Carla, Roxie, Rachel, Jake and Connor, and great granddaughter Fiona – sister Dianne (Dennis Hawker), brother Blaine and his wife Elizabeth, and sister-in-laws Arvina, Marlene, and Stella.

Sheldon was born in Huntsville on July 23, 1938 and was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Marjorie (Anderson), and three brothers Revis, Beverley, and Clebert.

Sheldon was employed by Canusa for 35 years. A true hockey fan he also loved to fish with his dad, brothers and son. He was a member of Huntsville Canadian Legion and for years enjoyed helping with their July barbeque.

A graveside service will be held in the spring at Hutcheson Memorial Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers at Hospice Huntsville and Dr. DeRoode for their kindness and care.
