Elizabeth "Libby" Ann Forbes

As longtime friends of Lib it is with great sadness that we share this news with you. 

After a courageous battle with cancer,  Elizabeth (Lib) Ann Forbes in her 95th year passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Algonquin Grace Hospice, Huntsville.

She was predeceased by her daughter Lee Ann Forbes (1958) and husband Daniel Forbes. (2007).

They made their home in Port Sydney and she was a long time employee as a clerk/secretary for Huntsville PUC. After her retirement, she spent many years caring for her husband Dan who suffered from MS.

She enjoyed sharing her homemade stew and butter tarts with friends and neighbours and spoiling our family at Halloween with candy apples.  As a young woman she loved riding her horse Vicki and being with her many dogs over the years. We had fun catching up on the Raptors or Blue Jays games and reading mystery novels was also a passion of hers.  She was very proud to be in her home until a month before her passing.  We are very grateful to all who helped Lib in her final journey.  Rest in peace, our dear friend.

At Lib's request there will be no visitation or celebration of life.
