Georgina Elsie Newhall

February 22, 1953 to December 22, 2023

Peacefully in Hospice Huntsville on December 22nd, at the age of 70. Gina fought her cancer battle bravely and with such a positive attitude and refused to let anything get in her way. Ultimately, a virus was just to much for her body to handle.  Gina was the beloved daughter of Marlene Williams and Woody Newhall, and partner to Danny; all of whom she will now be able to meet up with again.  After a successful 28 year career at Bell Canada, Gina retired and spent a lot of time travelling to many places around the globe. She spent the majority of her life in Hamilton and was a longstanding member of St. Michael’s Anglican Church. After moving to Clear Lake many years ago, she volunteered her time in many different roles in the local area.  One passion was her work with the Clear Lake Property Owners Association where she volunteered on the Board of Directors for many years. She was also a valuable member of The Parish of the Good Shepherd, serving as a longtime rector’s warden and taking on many challenges and projects, all of which she enjoyed immensely. 

As per Gina’s wishes, a celebration service and internment will occur at The Parish of the Good Shepherd, 2190 Highway 592, Emsdale, on Saturday, May 18th at 11am.
