In Loving Memory of Patricia Hernen

Patricia Hernen (nee Worland), beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at Hospice Huntsville on February 20, 2024, at the age of 85. Patricia, known affectionately as Pat, leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering strength.

Born September 28, 1938 in St. Marylebone (London) England, Pat later emigrated to Canada at the age of 21 to marry (Jack Hernen predeceased) and began growing her family.

Pat was the devoted mother of David (Susan), Philip (Linda), Stephen (Heather), and Carol-Anne (Ernie). Her dedication to her children knew no bounds, and she filled them with values of hard work, resilience, and generosity.

Pat’s love extended to her grandchildren, Alexander, Michelle (Louis), Melissa (Brett), Mark, Laura, Bailey, and Beth as well as her great-granddaughters Lila (soon to be a big sister) and Tessa. She took great joy in all of their achievements, cherished their company, and imparted invaluable wisdom upon them through her many stories and life experiences.

Pat will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her spirit live on in the many memories cherished by her family.
