Elwood Bruce Foran

Elwood Bruce Foran, 76, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024, at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital in his 77th year.

Beloved husband of Pauline Foran. Proud father to Gary and Samantha (Jonathan), and dear "Papa" to James (Ashley) and Ian. Predeceased by his parents Eliza & Gordon and his brother's, Vern, Archie, Wilfred, Carman, Vic and survived by his sister Lena(Vic). He leaves behind many nieces and nephews who he truly loved and will be missed by all.

Elwood was born in Oxtongue Lake, then moved to Huntsville where he lived the remainder of his life.

Elwood was known as a kind and gentle man and was a joy to be around. He was great provider and worked 40 years at Nadrofsky Saw Mill. He had a great love of the outdoors and wildlife, even those pesky red squirrels, that would get in the bird feeder, but he would say. "They have to eat too!"

One of his greatest pleasure was being around family and friends and always had a good joke to share. Often enjoyed a good game of horse shoes, playing cards, playing guitar and loved camping.

Following Elwood's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service.
