Nancy Rose Griffin

Nancy Rose Griffin, 71 of Huntsville, Ontario passed away peacefully on September 6th, 2024. Daughter of the late Vilko and Marion Pavli. Beloved wife of the late Tom Griffin.  Nancy was a treasured sister to Ralph (Maureen), Tony (Cathy) and sister in law to Jim Griffin (Sandra). Nancy was a devoted mother to her three girls Jenn, Jane, Pamm (Tyler). She was also a cherished Grandmother to Caitlin (Derek), Griffin, Lexie, and Jaxen. She loved all of her Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends dearly.

 Nancy was known for her continuous generosity and kindness within her community with her various donations. Everyone knew she was an avid sports fan, there wasn’t a sport she didn’t love to watch. You could always find Nancy reading her book out in the sun, playing board games with her daughters and grandchildren, walking her golden retrievers, and enthusiastically collecting her various reward points. She was known for her witty sense of honour and her devotion to her family and friends. 

Visitation will be held at the Mitchell Funeral Home, 15 High Street on Tuesday September10th from 4- 6 pm.

 In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Huntsville Hospital Foundation or Huntsville Hospice to re-reflect the generosity and care she received. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, 21 Veteran’s Way, Huntsville on Wednesday, September11, 2024 from 2-5 pm.
