Merven Allan Roy Aitchison

It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Merven Allan Roy Aitchison on December 31, 2024.

Loving Husband of Sharon for 51 years. Devoted Father to Alan, Leigh (Richard), Travis, Matthew and Trevor.

Adoring Grandfather to Curtis (Jodi), Caitlin (Chad), Camron, Abigail, Zackarius (Tessa), Austin (Ellie), Darcie and Mari.

Caring Great Grandfather to Kendra, Colby, Ben and Ruby Lou.

Merven was predeceased by his parents Simon and Mary, his brothers Alec, Joe, Jack, Jeff, Len, Mac and Don.

He is survived by Una (Gordon deceased), Beth (Walter deceased), Gordon (Betty), Heather (Tom deceased)

Merv will be dearly missed by his extended family and friends.

He enjoyed being active in his local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Merv will be remembered by his love and knowledge of nature. He would be the one you would want to be lost in the bush with.

Also memorable was his dry sense of humour.  Every time he told a story his wife was asked if he was joking.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025. At the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, at 2pm.
