Gerald "Gerry" Joseph Keyes

Family and friends will forever miss Gerry (Joseph) Keyes after passing Nov. 6th, 2021.

He started as a Master Plumber, then established Genoble Delivery service in Toronto, was the first Canadian executive to work for UPS and then moved onto Chief Building Inspector in the town of Huntsville. In doing so he provided encouragement and guidance to all in each of his endeavours. Upon retirement he started the morning coffee club.

He was at peace when he passed, thankful for a great life. He touched and was blessed by family, friends and colleagues. He was a mentor to all. Gerry was happily married to his best friend Mardi for 60 plus extraordinary years. Together they had two wonderful sons and amazing daughters in-law, David(Cathy), Brian(Joan). Two beautiful Granddaughters, Brook (Mac), Samantha (Jamie) and his best buddy Grandson Charlie. He was the kindest step Papa to Kelly, Nicole (Justin) and Michael. As a bonus he had four Great Grandchildren, Jackson, Nora, Addy and Ty. The family would like to thank the many caregivers who helped care for Gerry and a special thank you to the tremendous ICU staff at Huntsville Hospital. Till we meet again, we love you. Rest well Ger.

Memorial Service for family and close friends will be held at St. Mary of the Assumption church on Friday, November 12th at 1:00 p.m.
