Sandra Lee Moorhouse

Sandra Lee Moorhouse, nee Chantler passed away peacefully on December 12, 2022 at Hospice Huntsville/Algonquin Grace in Huntsville, Ontario at the age of 70 with her family by her side.

“Sandy” as her friends called her was originally born in Huntsville but had lived in Belleville and Mississauga most of her life. She had since returned home and had resided there until her passing.

She is survived by her sons Paul (Heather), Brian (Krystle) and sister Holly Chantler. She is also survived by her granddaughter Brier. She is predeceased by her parents Donald and Helen Chantler.

Sandy was an avid bridge player and earned the Lifemaster status in her earlier years. Sandy had a large circle of friends from her days in the bridge world and with co-workers during her lengthy career employed by the Toronto Dominion Bank. Sandy spent many years in Belleville, Ontario and often reminisced about the good old days there with her closest friends. Over the past year, Sandy became a voice of the people at a local retirement residence where she had resided.    

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 6, 2023 1:00 – 4:00 Home2 Suites by Hilton – Muskoka ll room 159 Howland Drive, Huntsville
