Other favorite pastimes included making jigsaw puzzles, playing scrabble, reading, knitting and crocheting. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren always received knitted or crocheted gifts at Christmas, including Angels, hats, mitts, slippers, scarves, sweaters and afghans. She loved giving these gifts to close friends and relatives.
