Robert "Bob" Bennett

Robert “Bob” Melvin Bennett passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Oct, 25 2023, three days after turning 73, in his home town of Huntsville, Ontario.

We had found out he was battling cancer but stayed strong despite the pain right to the end.

Bob met the love of his life Lorraine “Laurie” Georgette Bennett (nee Robinson) in Huntsville in September of 1970 where they became best friends and quickly fell in love to get married on Aug 7 1971. They then had 2 children the first Jason Bennett in the year of 1972 followed by Christopher Bennett in the year of  1977. 

Bob was a loving husband , father and grandfather and will be missed by all.  He was known for loving the Blue Jays and making his famous christmas chilli on the Holidays. He enjoyed lots of hobbies such as darts, horse shoes, and golfing to name a few.  Bob also always had a pet and had a love for all animals.

Bob was honoured with a Celebration of Life on Nov. 11 2023 with immediate family.
