Beverley Erichsen- Brown
Bev Erichsen-Brown ne: Jackson died peacefully Monday June 17 2024 at Algonquin Grace Huntsville Hospice after bravely deciding to not treat her second diagnosis of cancer. Daughter of the late Audrey (Rogers) and Bill Jackson and sister to the late Roger Jackson she is survived by her children Vicki Forward (Glenn), Joel Erichsen-Brown (Diane) and Casey Erichsen-Brown, grandchildren Cameron, Holden, Jessica, Megan and Alexander, and great-grandchildren Ethan, Carson and Logan. The family moved from Mississauga to Huntsville around 1970 and Bev worked at Zellers then Sanderson Monuments until her first fight against cancer. Upon retirement she enjoyed playing cards, scrabble and trips to the casino. After leaving her marriage in 2020 Bev lived on her own and was loved and supported by her family, friends and neighbours. She will be greatly missed and always remembered. The family is deeply grateful to the Palliative Care Team and Huntsville Hospice for their kindness and care and to everyone who spent time with mom to make her difficult journey over the past few months a little bit easier. Respecting Bev' s wishes she will be cremated, with no visitation or service. For those who wish to make a gesture in honour of Bev's memory, a donation to Huntsville Hospice or to cancer care or treatment may benefit others in the future.
