Dale was born and raised in Huntsville. Son of the late Mathew and Beth Wreggitt. Beloved husband and best friend of 32 years to Bonnie Irving. Cherished Father of Josh (Tasha), Ryan and Kayla (Brad Dalrymple) Extremely well loved Poppa of Harlen and Bentley Wreggitt, Selena and Andrew Dalrymple.

Baby Brother to the late Garry (Jackie) Wreggitt, Sandy (Tom) Hammond, Betty-Anne (Ken) McDonald, the late Pauline (Pat) St. Louis . Brother in law to Debbie Roberts, Lisa (Brian) Hannan, Janice (Doug) Carr and Lois (Allian) Philippe.  Dale will be remembered by many neices and nephews, friends, neighbours and even strangers, as he always like to bring a smile to everyones faces with a little joke or a kind compliment.

Dale found his need for Salvation through the scriptures found in Acts 16:30 - 31 Sirs, what must I do to be saved? Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and though shalt be saved.  Dale had great comfort, peace and blessed assurance knowing he was going home to Heaven. His favorite place that he felt closest to God was out enjoying nature, from fishing to hunting or just going for a nice walk.

Dale joined the Candian Armed Forces at the age of 20. He proudly served our country for 19 years as a fireman, in several postings in Canada and spent two years on both the H.M.C.S. Provider and Saguenay Ship. Of all his postings his favorite and most talked about by far was the time he spent as Santa's neighbour in Alert.

Dale really enjoyed all that retirement life offered him the past few years. He loved his summer adventures with Bonnie from one coast to the other coast they made so many amazing memories to cherish. He could be found boating, four wheeling, snowmobiling, motorcycling, fishing, doing chores, playing cards or helping someone out. One of his favourite previlages was driving the "red bus"  his caravan that he took his grandchildren to and from school in. He was always just a phone call away, and he would help you with whatever you needed. Family was such a priority and he was everyone's biggest cheerleader and unwavering support. He always reminding us to try our best at whatever we were doing, and make him proud.

The family would like to special thanks to the emergency medical services for help getting Dale to the hospital each time he needed to go this past month, the staff at Huntsville Hospital, the entire team at Algonquin Grace Huntsville Hospice,  Dr. Andy MacMillan, Dr. Deb Harrold, Dr. Johnstone, Dr. Jindel You all have had a significant impact on helping us navigate these very difficult times.
